Strengthening digital resilience starts with strengthening people. The Workshop on Strengthening Cyber Security Framework for State Data-cum-Training of DISOs, jointly organized by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Bihar and CDACINDIA Patna, brought together government officials, domain experts, and Designated Information Security Officers (DISOs) to advance secure digital governance. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Arvind Kumar Choudhary, ITS, Special Secretary, DIT, GoB; Shri Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Patna; Dr. Shailesh Shrivastava, Scientist G & SIO Bihar. We are grateful for the valuable presence and insightful contributions of Shri Abhay Kumar Singh, IAS (Secretary-cum-CISO); Dr. NITIN KUMAR PURI, Executive Director, NIELIT Patna; Prof. Faizan Mustafa, VC, Chanakya National Law University, Patna whose expertise greatly enriched the discussions and helped shape a resilient cybersecurity roadmap for the state. Through expert-led sessions on #cybersecurity governance, Zero Trust Architecture, data protection, and DPDP Act 2023 compliance, participants gained practical insights to safeguard critical digital assets and strengthen preparedness against emerging threats.
