💧 As temperatures rise across Europe, pressure on water resources increases - making it more important than ever for businesses and households to use water responsibly. At C&D Foods and its affiliates, we’ve set clear targets to reduce water usage, and we’re making strong progress towards them. At our Edgeworthstown site in Ireland, advanced metering and live monitoring systems give us full visibility of water use across the network. This allows us to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. We’ve also developed tools such as water mapping and mass balance models to better understand where and how water is used, supporting continuous improvement across our processes. Water management is a shared responsibility across our business, supported by clear reporting and accountability, including the guidance of our Group Environmental Officer, Aideen Butler.
