This past week Charles visited collaborators for our recent paper, SMARCA4 biology in alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, at the University of Dundee to present, "Temporal role of SMARCA4 in childhood muscle cancer – implication for clinical trials".  Dr. Alessio Ciulli is Professor of Chemical and Structural Biology and Director of the Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation - an incredibly productive, hybrid academic-pharma laboratory where important new types of drugs are being developed.  This lectureship was organized and co-hosted by gifted graduate student Charlotte Crowe and enterprising postdoctoral fellow Valentina Spiteri.  Accompanying Charles was cc-TDI's original social media director, Greta Elizabeth (Charles' daughter).  Greta's itinerary was to capture the magic for the Centre's strong Women in Science culture.  More from Greta on this aspect in the next post!
