Ann Brown, a parishioner of St. John of God in Central Islip enrolled in the diocesan adult formation to learn more about her Faith and to grow in her connection to God – but, as Ann shared, “I learned so much more!” “During the program I learned how I could better relate to God and the people in the community. I also learned how to listen to God – be still – and listen. When I was in elementary school, the Sisters always told us that God was always with us – the PFI program really re-emphasized that for me.” Bringing her gifts back to her Parish, Ann became engaged in the Ministry to Catholics of African Ancestry. Ann is also a Eucharistic Minister and last year became a lector at her Parish. #DRVC
