As we mark another year of progress, Cathay Dining is proud to share our Sustainability Highlights 2025 — a reflection of the steps we're taking to  integrate sustainability into our operations: Energy Efficiency: Harnessed the natural cooling nature of condensate water for fresh air pre-cooling, anticipated to save around 60 tonnes CO₂e annually Waste-to-Energy: Launched a new warewash system with a redesigned workflow — becoming the first airline caterer in Hong Kong to support inbound food waste segregation and recycling for electricity generation Refrigerant Transition: Retrofitted 30% of our catering truck fleet to use a refrigerant with lower global warming potential Sustainable Sourcing: Adopted certified cage‑free sourcing requirements for all shell and liquid egg procurement Every initiative is a step toward a more sustainable future.
