Meet Sarawut 👋, a Team Leader from the Fabrication team at our Resource Industries Manufacturing facility in Thailand. His passion for fabrication began long before his career began. As a child, Sarawut would often get to see Cat machines on the road, and those moments sparked a lasting curiosity — how are machines this massive built? That question stayed with him. When he joined technical school, he knew exactly what he wanted: to become one of the people who brought these machines to life. ✨ Along the way, Sarawut had an important realization. Welding, while critical, is only one part of a much bigger picture. Fabrication is the complete journey which includes cutting, bending, drilling, welding, and assembling to transform raw materials into a finished product built to perform. Over 14 years, Sarawut grew into a Subject Matter Expert, mastering each step of the fabrication process. And among all those skills, one captured his heart the most was welding. To Sarawut, welding isn’t just a technical skill; it’s an art. Every weld requires patience, precision, and pride, much like an artist shaping a masterpiece. Today, as a Team Leader, Sarawut continues to create, whether he’s guiding his team on the shop floor or crafting something special for his family and colleagues.
