Think, for a moment, LinkedIn reader, about what you’ve accomplished in your professional life. We’ll surmise that at some point — and probably quite frequently — you’ve made a presentation, or a pitch, where you wowed with how you presented your data. Go ahead, smile about those wins. Only you could do it that way. Now, think about when you’re tasked about talking about your career — what you’ve done, what you want to do. And in this installment, we’ve got career expert and former Google recruiter Ellen Bird and the storytelling savants at The Presentation Company to offer you a framework on how to go about talking about your career, whether internally or externally. Read “Why the Best Business Storytellers Struggle with Their Own Career Story” and come away with some easy-to-use ways to organize your career story, because you never quite know when you’ve got to make an elevator pitch, and talking about the weather isn’t going to get you to where you want to go.
