May was a busy month for our tech community at Catawiki💡 We hosted two TechConnect events to bring together engineers, product people, founders, recruiters, and tech enthusiasts for evenings full of learning, discussion, and connection. In Amsterdam, we focused on AI Coding Agents with Alireza Heydari sharing insights on how AI is making software development more accessible and changing the way teams work.   We were also joined by external speakers Jean Bonnenfant and Sergio Cardenas, who shared their perspectives on the evolving role of AI in product and development. Meanwhile in Lisbon, discussions explored AI Ethics & Governance, scaling engineering teams, and the challenges of building products in fast-growing tech environments. A big thank you to Sílvia Rocha for her session on responsible AI adoption, and to Vinicius Bernardi Vieira for sharing lessons from scaling engineering teams and technical strategy at Catawiki. What stood out most across both events was the energy in the room. Thoughtful discussions and plenty of conversations continued long after the talks ended.
