Short-track speed skating is one of the most demanding sports on the planet. Fractions of a second. Razor-thin margins. And until now, very little data to train on. To change this, we are starting a long-term research collaboration with ÉTS Montréal, working closely with Julien Clément. The goal is simple: give athletes the tools they need to find those crucial extra milliseconds. Using Catapult’s ClearSky technology, we will support the development and real-time monitoring of skaters. By capturing advanced data both on and off the ice, athletes and coaches will be equipped with the precise metrics they need to train smarter, help to prevent injuries and improve their times.
