👩🏻‍🔬 Dr. Jagoda Litowczenko - Cybulska, Head of the Biomaterials and Biofabrication Laboratory (JagodaLab) at the CAT AMU, has been appointed as a Research Affiliate at The SHED at MIT (Safety, Health & Environmental Discovery Lab) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). 💡 As part of the collaboration between The SHED MIT and the CAT AMU, joint research projects are being carried out in the fields of biomaterials, 3D bioprinting, organoids, perfusion systems, microfluidics, and advanced tissue models. 🧫 One of the key areas of cooperation is the development of an integrated biofabrication platform encompassing cell culture, bioink preparation, bioprinting, perfusion systems, and advanced live-cell imaging. 📹 The video showcases selected elements of the research infrastructure and research activities conducted jointly by the teams of The SHED MIT and JagodaLab. 🤝 The collaboration includes the exchange of researchers and PhD students, joint scientific publications, the development of new technologies, and the preparation of future international research projects. It represents another important step in strengthening international research cooperation between the Center for Advanced Technologies and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
