Strongly supported by the Government of India, this strategic initiative reflects a long-term vision to strengthen national energy security, maximize the value of domestic coal resources, and develop new industrial value chains for the country. Complementing the ammonia synthesis loop announced earlier this month, CASALE's technologies enable a ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น๐—น๐˜† ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐—น-๐˜๐—ผ-๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜‚๐—บ ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฒ ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป, from ammonia production through weak nitric acid (WNA), ammonium nitrate (AN), and HDAN. โš™๏ธ Leveraging more than 80 ammonia synthesis loop references worldwide up to 3โ€™100 MTD, CASALE will provide its proprietary ๐—ก-๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ฃโ„ข ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ป๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐˜† and equipment for the 920 MTD ammonia synthesis loop, supplying the essential building block for the downstream nitrates production chain. ๐Ÿญ Leveraging more than 120 Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate plant references worldwide, CASALE will provide its proprietary ๐——๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฃ๐—จ๐—ฅ๐—˜โ„ข and ๐—ก๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—–๐—จ๐—Ÿ๐—ง๐—œ๐—ฉ๐—”โ„ข technologies for a 1โ€™650 MTD WNA plant, a 2โ€™000 MTD AN plant, and a 400 MTD HDAN prilling unit, setting a new benchmark for nitrate production capacity in India and supporting the supply of strategic products for the country's mining sector. ๐Ÿ† Once completed, it will represent the largest ammonium nitrate complex in the country and is expected to meet nearly 35% of India's projected ammonium nitrate demand by 2030. ๐ŸŒ Beyond its technical scope, the project represents an important milestone in India's efforts to build new industrial value chains, strengthen domestic production capabilities, and support strategic sectors such as mining and infrastructure.
