πŸŽ“πŸŒΏ We completed the last Thematic Module 6 on Vector-Borne Diseases in Ticino! A huge thank you to Eleonora Flacio and her team Damiana Ravasi, Eva Veronesi, Pietro Storelli, Margherita Cappa, Mariantonietta Lettieri and Francesco Origgi at the Institute of Microbiology, Research and Innovation at University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland for an outstanding final module. They introduced us to the ecology of vectors involved in Vector-Borne Diseases that are currently affecting - or have the potential to affect - both animals and humans in our region. The module combined fieldwork, laboratory activities, and a collaborative workshop, giving us the opportunity to explore integrated action plans for preventing and controlling vectors and Vector-Borne Diseases, fully aligned with the One Health approach. πŸ¦ŸπŸ”¬πŸ€ Above all, thank you for the warm welcome, dedication, and kindness shown throughout the two days. Your enthusiasm, expertise, and generosity made this final CAS module a truly memorable and inspiring experience! β€οΈπŸ™ #OneHealth #VectorBorneDiseases #Collaboration #LifelongLearning #SUPSI #UniversityOfBern
