Congratulations to Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) CEO Jonathan Adkins on his appearance on the Chief Influencer® podcast with Anthony Shop. Jonathan brings such a thoughtful, grounded perspective to leadership and influence — including this line that stayed with me: “I’m not the loudest person in the room.” The episode offers a candid look at how he chooses when and where to use his voice for the greatest impact — especially when the goal is saving lives. One lesson I especially appreciated was his reminder about “learning how to listen so that people will listen to you when you speak.” Sage advice, and something I’m continuing to work on too.
