After a 20-year career serving the state’s electric cooperatives and their members, North Carolina’s Electric Cooperatives’ Executive Vice President and CEO Joe Brannan retired in April. Under his leadership as CEO since 2012, North Carolina’s electric cooperatives entered an era of innovation, rising to meet the demands of a changing industry by deploying advanced concepts including microgrids, solar + storage, and substation-based battery energy storage systems to enhance reliability and resiliency for their members. https://lnkd.in/ecFFavw8
