I was 6 when legendary French DJ Bob Sinclar released World, Hold On. Early Europop has been a soundtrack to my life, shaping and fueling my passion for fashion and the cultural industries. Long before social media, the charm and mystery of these creative worlds—the stages, venues, artists, and cultural icons—felt completely out of reach. Not only in my imagination though, they were also on an entirely different continent. Life has a way of opening unexpected doors. It has taken me much farther than I ever imagined. I recently had the opportunity to interview Bob Sinclar's daughter, Paloma, whose emerging career I've been following for quite some time. Paloma represents one of those rare connections between the generation that defined the spirit of the early 2000s—just before digital identity reshaped culture—and those of us who are now being handed the torch. As she writes her own story and builds a promising career across the music and cultural industries, guided by an impeccable curatorial instinct, Paloma is bringing the legacy of a pre-digital era into a new cultural landscape. A huge honor—and a deeply personal full-circle moment. https://lnkd.in/dCKp-TSi
