There are moments in life when words don’t quite do justice to what you’re feeling, and this is one of them. Graduating top of Cambridge Medicine, receiving the Gold Medal, and being awarded the Gresham Prize is an achievement that very few people will ever accomplish. But anyone who knows you has watched this moment being built for years. Being your twin has meant I’ve had the privilege of experiencing life alongside you - every milestone, every setback, every late night, and every success. Through it all, you’ve always had my back, and it’s been the greatest honour to watch you become the man you are today. It’s funny to think it all started with us trying to outdo each other in physics class, where our exam papers were read out in front of everyone and we’d quietly compete to see who came out on top. Somehow, that little rivalry ended with you going to the best university in the world… and finishing at the very top of it. You came. You saw. You conquered. Watching them call your name as the Gold Medallist is a moment I’ll carry with me forever. I don’t think anyone deserves it more, and I couldn’t be prouder of you. And finally… Derby, you have absolutely no idea what’s about to hit you. Be nice to him.
