I think that being old at this age that many years have brought me to has affected me not with VINEGAR but with WINE. Is this important? Of course it is.
We watch this historic "ship maneuver" film over and over again to elicit a "Wow!" My starting point is to offer my APPRECIATION for the subject matter and the captain, the film's hero. And I know very well that Greek people are SEAMEN. They KNOW their profession WELL in every aspect. Just like Turkish people know their military profession very well. (I'm not trying to start a debate, by any means. I just wrote this as an example, to illustrate the point.) Now, the point I want to emphasize here is, "you are maneuvering on an anchor." There are perhaps over a hundred people on board your ship. And as captain, is the maneuver you are performing your last chance, considering the risks involved? If so, what you are doing could be considered HEROIC. However, if the anchor you drop is used as your last chance, and if, "if the anchor drags," the load on the anchor chain BREAKS it, and you no longer have a "Plan B," then you are a captain thinking dangerously, and your assignment to this task is debatable. You are not using safer options to protect the values entrusted to you, ESPECIALLY the PEOPLE entrusted to your care on board.
