Supply chains are failing. Traditional, siloed decision models have hit a ceiling, and expectations have outgrown what current operating models can deliver.   Agentic AI is driving a structural shift in how supply chains operate. It replaces sequential handoffs with enterprise-wide decision intelligence, continuously orchestrating the optimal response across functions and connecting sensing, decisions, and execution through a continuous learning loop, that learns and refines how it reasons, beyond static obsolete rules. Making this real means: - Anchoring AI agents in enterprise context and supply chain operational knowledge - Designing a hybrid human–AI operating model - Engineering the economics to deploy agents where they create the most value   The good news is that this does not require displacing the existing stack. But it does require a reset and creating new layers that most organizations lack today: - A semantic layer - An orchestration layer - A governance and control plane for AI agents - A reimagined human-AI interaction layer   In our latest point of view, we explore what this looks like, and how to start building it: https://bit.ly/3S1sZav   #SupplyChain #MakeItReal
