CCA is proud to welcome Owen Butler to the team as Officer, Policy and Regulatory Affairs. In this role, Owen will support CCA’s regulatory monitoring and analysis, contribute to policy development, and help translate complex regulatory developments into clear insights that inform advocacy and member engagement. “I’m really pleased to welcome Owen to the team. From our first conversations, it was clear he brings not only strong technical and regulatory experience, but also a thoughtful, curious approach to his work. We’re excited to support him as he builds his expertise and grows into the role - he’s going to be a great addition to the team,” added Terri Stewart, Vice-President, Regulatory Affairs. Owen is a recent graduate of Queen’s University’s Chemical Engineering program with a specialization in biochemical, biomedical, and bioenvironmental engineering. During his work terms with the Government of Canada, he gained direct experience supporting regulatory development under CEPA, including drafting Regulatory Impact Analysis Statements and coordinating ministerial approvals for substances added to the Domestic Substances List. #CCA #Policy #RegulatoryAffairs
