We’re proud that AC Medienhaus GmbH in Germany and Bookadew in the Netherlands will be the first customers in Europe for the new varioPRINT iX1700. While installations are still to come, their decision to invest reflects the evolving market and the shift towards more efficient inkjet production, shorter runs, high-quality output, application flexibility and the ability to be more responsive to customer needs. Both customers recently visited our Customer Experience Centre in Venlo, where they met with our experts to explore the varioPRINT iX1700’s potential for their businesses. AC Medienhaus, will move towards inkjet to boost production efficiency for commercial print and publishing work, whilst bringing more outsourced print volumes in-house to better serve their customers. Bookadew, formerly known as ARS Print Media, will produce high-quality, A4 landscape sewn books in short runs for its online portal - selecting inkjet for its productivity, and stable image quality and application diversity. During testing, the team evaluated print quality, media compatibility, lamination and finishing requirements. Beyond books, Bookadew also sees opportunities in personalised packaging applications on heavier silk-coated media, including its Happibox concept: happiness in a box. The varioPRINT iX1700 builds on our long-standing sheetfed production print expertise and the proven success of our flagship varioPRINT iX3200. With more than a decade of setting the standard in sheetfed inkjet, Canon continues to help print businesses. access the productivity, consistency and application opportunities of inkjet at the right scale for their business. Congratulations to both organisations – we look forward to supporting the next step in their production journey. #DigitalPrint #InkjetPrinting #PrintInnovation
