Less screen time, more screening time. Right now, only 41.7% of Australians complete their bowel screening test, but if we increase and sustain participation at 60%, 84,000 lives could be saved. Through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, brought to you by the Cancer Council and the Australian Government, eligible Australians can do a free at-home test. The test looks for tiny traces of blood in your poo, which can be an early sign of bowel cancer, even if you feel healthy and have no symptoms. Don’t put off the chance to save your life.
