Content advisory: Some images in this post include fake blood and simulated casualties created for training purposes.   Real-world readiness starts with realistic and dynamic training.   Last month, members of the Canadian Forces Health Services participated in Exercise VIGOROUS WARRIOR 2026 in Estonia, NATO's largest multinational medical field training exercise.   Including activities such as dealing with cyber threats or responding to a simulated attack on a NATO member nation, Ex VIGOROUS WARRIOR was designed to place medical personnel, systems, and infrastructure under realistic operational pressure. The exercise provided an opportunity to enhance and validate operational readiness, strengthen interoperability, and refine how medical support is delivered in complex operational environments.
