CNA’s President and CEO, George Christidis appeared yesterday before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Science and Research as part of its study on artificial intelligence. George highlighted the critical role nuclear technology plays in driving innovation in Canada and supporting the growing demand for reliable, non-emitting electricity. He also emphasized the importance of continued federal support for the nuclear sector as a key enabler of Canada’s economic, social, and technological priorities, including the advancement of AI and other emerging technologies.
