New from Texas A&M VMBS: researchers found that invasive aoudad may be helping sustain and spread respiratory pathogens that are devastating native bighorn sheep populations in West Texas. The study provides new evidence that aoudad can act as long-term carriers of these pathogens, offering wildlife managers valuable insight for protecting vulnerable bighorn herds and guiding future conservation efforts. š https://lnkd.in/gPrKXPtD #WildlifeConservation #VeterinaryMedicine #ScienceCommunication
