CAMPERLAB and its Creative Director, Achilles Ion Gabriel, present the Fall–Winter 2026 show at Maison de la Mutualité, the historic Art Deco theatre in Paris’s 5th arrondissement. Rooted in memories of the polar winters of Lapland, the season is an ode to Achilles’ childhood in the northernmost part of Finland. Set within a piercing blizzard, the show transports the audience into a state of solitary existence, harsh by nature, yet marked by moments of abrupt serenity and clarity. The presentation unfolds around twenty windswept characters, formed by an unassuming cast of models, talents, and street-cast individuals. Kissed by sub-zero temperatures, some appear dressed simply to gather wood to heat a cottage, while others are equipped to endure prolonged conditions of polar nights. Silhouettes sway between shrunken and loose, with destroyed finishes and a wide range of treatments and washes. The result is a collection that feels deeply personal while maintaining an almost accidental harmony. The colour palette is built on cold, worn tones of brown, white, grey, and light blue, accentuated by hints of aurora-inspired pink and petrol. Standout materials include weathered white ostrich-embossed leathers, heavy waxed cottons, long-pile wools, signature brush-off leathers, and a mix of treated and classic CAMPERLAB printed denim pieces. Footwear highlights include the whiteout-appropriate, grounding TERROSO boots, alongside elongated ESCANDALO heeled loafers and boots. They are joined by the CANICULA leather sneakers, a raw development constructed on 3D-printed outsoles with interlinked cables. In leather accessories, the signature LAUKKU and LUNSSI bags grow smaller into their new downsized versions, accompanied by the introduction of a new belt featuring a large, distorted metal buckle. The desolate journey is underscored by an original soundscape composed by Pandora’s Jukebox, further transferring the audience into the cold. The show concludes with a raw and haunting live performance by Annahstasia (Enuke), whose dusky, hypnotic voice guides the characters’ exit from the stage. Momentarily stepping out of the snowstorm into greener fields, the show also offers a sneak peek at the collaborative collection with Mallorca’s emblematic football team, RCD Mallorca. Celebrating an ongoing partnership rooted in shared local heritage, the capsule introduces classic jersey elements alongside grass-stained denim jeans and a traditional wool football scarf reimagined as a silky, salon-approved rendition.
