Mayor Paul Bristow has reflected on a year of delivery and partnership working in Peterborough in a busy first 12 months in the role. Agreement has been reached with Peterborough City Council on free parking after 3pm in four city centre car parks, a Youth Hub at Peterborough United to help young people into work has been opened, and new lighting at Peterborough Cathedral to support events and tourism has been funded. Peterborough Station Quarter, the UK's largest Levelling Up project is now moving into construction. Work continues towards a Mayoral Development Corporation to bring the powers and investment the city needs to deliver regeneration at scale. Bringing partners together like the city council, Peterborough United Football Club , the Cathedral, Home England, our vibrant training and education sector, local employers and many others will continue to be key. The Mayor's year two will build on this start. Read the full year one story and watch the video 👇: https://orlo.uk/uzpO8
