The International Law Association (Australian Branch) is seeking expressions of interest for a new Treasurer. It is a great opportunity to work with the other members of the Branch's Management Committee - including Christopher Ward SC, Natalie Klein, Damian Sturzaker, Danielle Kroon, Elizabeth Flatley, Margaret Young, Jessie Zhang, Rose Cameron, Jennifer Tridgell 秋珍霓, Dr Keith Suter AM FAICD, Simeon Levine, Jo Delaney Full details of how to apply are below. *** The Australian Branch is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Treasurer of the Australian Branch. The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the Australian Branch, including maintaining accurate records of income and expenditure, managing bank accounts and membership payments, and ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. The role involves preparing a Treasurer’s Report each month and presenting it at Management Committee meetings, organising and presenting the annual financial statements at the Annual General Meeting, completing and lodging the annual charity statement, liaising with the International Law Association headquarters as necessary, working closely with the Secretary and President of the Australian Branch in relation to membership management, and providing financial updates and advice to the Management Committee to support informed decision-making.
