As we commemorate Juneteenth, CSUB reflects on the Juneteenth Celebration Breakfast held earlier this week. It brought together students, faculty, staff and community members to honor the history and significance through connection, shared conversation, culture and reflection. The event also recognized two outstanding leaders, Michelle Brooks and Dr. Dwayne Cantrell, who were presented with the Freedom Award for their service, leadership and contributions to the university.
