Working under the direction of the State Historic Preservation Officer and Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer, you’ll oversee statewide efforts in architectural review, registration, and environmental compliance. This leadership role is essential to protecting California’s cultural and historic resources, coordinating programs, guiding teams, and ensuring preservation standards are met.
