Caltech is deeply thankful for the Corporate Citizen Award presented by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce & Civic Association at its inaugural gala on Friday, June 26. Bill Ukropina, the Chamber’s incoming chair, highlighted Caltech’s contributions to Eaton Fire recovery and the Institute's civic engagement as Pasadena’s largest employer. He noted Caltech + JPL inventions, including those that enabled cellphone cameras, personal computing, and the use of genetics to learn about our individual health and ancestry.
