🔥 Inside an anode baking furnace, refractories face one of the most hostile environments in heavy industry. Flue walls and head walls of the anode baking furnace are hit simultaneously by CO attack, fluoride and alkali penetration, and hundreds of thermal cycles per campaign – all at temperatures around 1,250–1,300°C. This is where dense alumino-silicate ABF bricks make the difference, helping to: 🔹 Resist creep and subsidence under sustained thermal load 🔹 Withstand fluoride and alkali attack from recycled anode butts 🔹 Hold dimensional stability across hundreds of fire cycles Soon, our signature CALDE® BRICK CO A4 1, CALDE® BRICK CO A5 1 and CALDE® BRICK CO A6 1 will be manufactured locally at CAPES, our plant in Odisha, India – bringing shorter lead times, lower import dependency, and faster technical response to aluminum producers across India and APAC. Stay tuned as we introduce more industries where our refractories make the difference.
