The Cadence Giving Foundation is proud to have led the first City Year Collective Impact Day—bringing together 100 volunteers from across our ecosystem for a morning of hands-on service at Mayfair Community Garden in San José. With the support of the City of San José, including Mayor Matt Mahan, and leadership from Phil Bishop, Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Global Customer Success Team at Cadence, this effort highlights what’s possible when public, private, and nonprofit sectors come together with a shared purpose. Alongside 10 partner organizations—AMD, Arm, Cadence, Cisco, Everpure Foundation, Fortinet, KLA Foundation, Palo Alto Networks, San Francisco 49ers, and ServiceNow—volunteers helped create a more vibrant community space: - Constructed 12 picnic tables and benches - Laid nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of mulch - Repainted 660 feet of fencing - Refreshed garden plots More than a day of service, this is collective action in motion—where collaboration drives meaningful, community-centered impact. Because when we act together, we create change greater than the sum of our parts. https://lnkd.in/eATS9t9r
