🏢 Even in a well-let office building, temporary vacancies inevitably arise between tenancies. For one such space in our Berlin building at Pohlstraße 20, an idea emerged as part of a university project at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin to put it to creative use for a limited period – an approach we were happy to support.   Together with our working student, Derya Tasyumruk, who brought the idea from her university project into the company, and with the support of our Asset Management team, including Leah Heinemann, we made the space available free of charge for one month. In collaboration with artclub, an open studio was created, followed by an exhibition and a fundraising campaign.   Subsequently, the Lucander specialist class at the Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK) used the space for the group exhibition ‘Home is where the _ is’. Both projects impressively demonstrated how a vacant space can temporarily be transformed into a place for art, exchange and interaction.   Our thanks go to everyone involved – in particular HTW Berlin, the Berlin Universität der Künste (UdK), ArtClub and our colleagues from Asset Management.   📅 For those who would still like to visit the exhibition: the closing event will take place on 27 June 2026 from 5 pm at Pohlstraße 20 in 10785 Berlin.
