Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 is a wrap, and BYD Group made history. Across four days, roughly 200,000 guests visited our 2,016-square-metre stand, the largest ever presented at the Festival of Speed, to experience eight debuts across BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG. DENZA stole the spotlight with the global launch of the Z sports car, unveiled by BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li alongside 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button and the Duke of Richmond. The BAO 5 also made its debut, showcasing its off-road capability on the stand's dedicated course, while our FLASH Charging station demonstrated speeds of up to 1,500kW, taking the DENZA Z Racing and Z9GT from 10-70% in just five minutes. BYD introduced the DOLPHIN G DM-i and SHARK to UK audiences, both powered by Super Hybrid technology, while YANGWANG showcased the U9 Xtreme, the world's fastest production car with a top speed of 496km/h, alongside the U8L and U7.
