After founding a retail phone repair company 16 years ago, Santiago Fernández de Valderrama Aparicio realized his favorite part of the job was using software to automate operations and provide better value to their customers. He decided that for the next chapter of his career, he'd go all in on AI. He quickly found that finding a job was a job itself. He thought there was no better way to prove his skills than by building a tool that helped him search for a job. That's how Career-Ops started. Once it was finished, it recommended that he apply to 66 open positions. Out of those 66, he got 12 interviews. Ultimately, he accepted an offer as the head of AI at a company in April.
