Senior Student at Istanbul Technical University

We successfully completed the presentation of our graduation project titled "Design of a Location and Workforce Decision System for an Automotive Company Using Future Bus Sales Data and Macroeconomic Factors", one of the most important milestones of my Industrial Engineering undergraduate journey. Over the past four years, the knowledge and skills I have developed such as analytical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and structured working habits were actively applied throughout this project. As part of our graduation work, we developed a data-driven decision support model for the European bus market. Our aim was to support strategic expansion decisions by integrating demand forecasting with multi-criteria decision-making. During the project, we adopted a forward-looking approach by using techniques such as time series analysis, dimensionality reduction, and lagged effect modeling. Rather than relying solely on historical data, this approach allowed us to demonstrate how more robust and sustainable decisions can be supported in markets characterized by uncertainty. I would like to sincerely thank my thesis advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Baş for her guidance and valuable insights, my teammates Elif Günenç and Selen Nihan Taşçı for their collaboration and shared effort, and all my professors who contributed to my academic development throughout this journey. As I approach the completion of my Industrial Engineering degree at Istanbul Technical University, I am motivated to continue learning, improving myself, and applying this experience to create value in my professional career. ✨ Moving forward with the goal of creating meaningful and sustainable impact.
