Great engineering is about more than technical expertise. It's about curiosity, collaboration and the ability to make complex challenges simple. As we celebrate fifty years of Buro Happold, we're sharing stories from the colleagues who have helped shape our journey. Next in our series is Project Principal and former Partner Angus Palmer, who joined the practice as a graduate structural engineer in 1988 and has spent his entire career helping drive innovation, collaboration and technical excellence across the business. From working on pioneering fabric and cable structures to supporting projects across the globe, Angus has witnessed the evolution of both the industry and the practice. Looking back, he is especially proud of Greenport Harbor on the tip of Long Island in New York State – a project that remains a valued part of the local community today. In recent years, Angus has focused on structural forensics and building safety, helping embed lessons learned and a culture of design rigour across our teams. #BH50Years #BuroHappold #Anniversary
