The latest State of Climate Action 2025 report finds that the world must phase out coal more than ten times faster to limit warming to 1.5°C. This means retiring nearly 360 coal-fired power plants every year and cancelling all planned coal plant construction projects. If this is what we need to do, why are we not doing it? Simple: Because there is not enough public pressure. That's why we are building Burn or Learn: a platform where people around the world can make their voices heard and demand climate action NOW.
