We congratulate the new Abuja Environmental Protection Board Director, Kate Ocheze Ogbonna, for pushing contractors to improve sanitation and waste management across Abuja. 👏 We would like to take this opportunity to ask the Director to tackle another growing issue: blocked drainages, which can cause flash floods and public health risks. The project #FixAbujaDrainageSystem on the Burn or Learn🔥🌍 platform is documenting blocked drainage incidents reported by citizens across Abuja. We invite AEPB to receive these reports and act on every case. For every blocked drain that gets fixed, we will celebrate and applaud AEPB and its Director, Kate Ocheze Ogbonna, for helping to create a cleaner, safer, and more flood-resilient Abuja.
