🌱 Europe’s competitiveness and its green transition must go hand in hand. These were among the key themes discussed at this year’s #GreenTransitionForum, bringing together policymakers, business leaders, industry representatives, and experts to shape the future of Europe’s sustainable growth. Konstantin Stamenov, Chairman of the Management Board of BFIEC, took part in several high-level discussions, contributing the perspective of energy-intensive industries on some of the most pressing challenges facing Europe today. Among the highlights were: 🔹 CBAM in Action – Ensuring Fair Competition While Decarbonising Global Trade 🔹 Strategic Exchange with Enrico Letta 🔹 Circular Industry, Climate Action and Water Resilience – Driving Europe’s Competitive Transition The discussions focused on critical topics including industrial decarbonisation, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), circular economy solutions, climate resilience, and the policies needed to strengthen Europe’s long-term competitiveness. For BFIEC, being part of these discussions is essential. The transition to a low-carbon economy can only succeed if it is accompanied by a strong, competitive, and innovative industrial base. We are pleased that Konstantin Stamenov had the opportunity to represent BFIEC and contribute to the dialogue on how Europe can achieve its climate ambitions while preserving industrial competitiveness. #GreenTransitionForum #CBAM #Decarbonisation #CircularEconomy #ClimateAction #Competitiveness #Industry #Sustainability
