With the joint company Bugatti Rimac, BUGATTI, Rimac Automobili d.o.o. and Porsche AG mark the beginning of a new chapter in automotive history. Throughout its history full of vicissitudes BUGATTI has proven that each time it entered a new chapter, the outcome was more innovative and more powerful than ever before. Thus BUGATTI is looking forward to an exciting future in the new joint company commencing its business operations as of today. Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of Rimac Automobili, has become CEO of Bugatti Rimac, Christophe Piochon, currently Managing Director of Production, President of BUGATTI Automobiles S.A.S. at Molsheim, France. Hendrik Malinowski, previously Head of Sales and Operations at BUGATTI Automobiles S.A.S., has been appointed Managing Director Sales and Marketing. The Porsche AG becomes a strategic shareholder. Oliver Blume, chairman of Porsche AG, and Lutz Meschke, deputy chairman and CFO, are members of the supervisory board. In spite of the challenges over the previous two years, BUGATTI’s sales have continuously increased, and so has the brand’s product portfolio. BUGATTI has redefined modern day coachbuilding with the DIVO, LA VOITURE NOIRE and CENTODIECI models. At the same time, the CHIRON family expanded. Though technically very different, the CHIRON Pur Sport and CHIRON Super Sport hyper sports cars offer the maximum spread of the “BUGATTI spectrum of performance”. The CHIRON Super Sport 300+ became the first production car ever to break the 300-mph barrier in the summer of 2019. Having achieved a top speed of 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h), the CHIRON Super Sport 300+ is since considered the fastest production car in the world. With the BOLIDE, BUGATTI is developing the most uncompromising vehicle in its modern era; it will be produced in a small series in 2024. All BUGATTI models will continue to be produced at the Molsheim Atelier, where the high quality standards established since its opening in 2005, will not only be kept, but regularly enhanced. Future BUGATTI products will keep their stand-alone features with new ones added, and the BUGATTI team will carry on with the same devotion and fervor to live up to Ettore Bugatti’s motto “If comparable, it is no longer BUGATTI”.
