Today, BSAC’s Head of Diving and Training, Sophie Heptonstall, attended the European Underwater Federation (EUF) General Assembly remotely on behalf of BSAC. The meeting brought together representatives from diving and underwater organisations across Europe to discuss key developments affecting our sector, including safety, training standards, environmental initiatives, certification, industry engagement, and the future direction of the EUF. Topics also included the formal establishment of the EUF as a non-profit federation in Austria and reports from CMAS, RSTC Europe, and the EUF Safety and ECO working groups.
