For example, if U.S. fruit is transshipped through the UAE on its way to Vietnam, it may mistakenly be tracked as UAE-origin. Kasey and the analytical team focus on uncovering these patterns so U.S. exports are accurately accounted for. • On Connecting with Producers: While data is her day-to-day anchor, Kasey values the human impact of trade. One of her favorite memories was visiting the Skagit Valley for the 2024 Crop Tour, where she saw the unique local agricultural landscape and engaged directly with local farmers.
