‘There were underlying questions I had that the physicians could not answer’ A three-Month internship in a Cape Town hospital diverted Courtney McDougal from medicine, leading her toward immunology and microbiology. Thirteen years and two degrees later, McDougal, 33, is still asking questions, but getting better answers.
