Hoops 4 Wealth is a First Nations-led program delivered by Hoops 4 Health Pty Ltd in Darwin and Alice Springs. Grounded in a healing-centred, trauma-informed approach, it helps mob build financial skills, emotional resilience and confidence through community connection, trusted facilitators. It's rooted in a belief that financial wellbeing cannot be separated from health and culture. BSL was honoured to gather on Larrakia Country to celebrate the graduation of 44 incredible Hoops 4 Wealth participants and the launch our evaluation report. Julie Ware BSL Chief Services Officer spoke to the heart of what this partnership means, "We didn't come to the Northern Territory as experts. We came as learning partners and we have learnt a great deal. Through Timmy and the incredible Hoops 4 Health team, we learned what culturally safe, healing-centred practice truly looks like."
