BSL's Practice Lead Laura McKenna spoke on radio this week with Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) about the Woden Education First Youth Foyer, Australia's tenth EFY Foyer site now open. Laura explains how the model works, "It's essentially bringing together education and housing for young people who are unable to live at home." Young people aged 16-24 who can't live at home gain access to stable housing a Certificate I in Developing Independence through the Canberra Institute of Technology and round-the-clock coaching support from Marymead CatholicCare Canberra & Goulburn.
