Current and former employees of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens are raising concerns about the work culture and current leadership of the historic Akron home of Goodyear founder F.A. Seiberling. An anonymous email that was shared with Signal Akron, plus interviews with 10 current and former staffers and volunteers, detail concerns about the management style of President and Executive Director Jennifer Highfield. Issues related to those concerns, sources said, include a high rate of employee turnover, miscommunication and low morale at the nonprofit.
