We’re proud to announce the launch of our new Regulated Ayrshire Support at Home Service, supporting individuals and families across the local community. This new service builds on our strong and successful partnership with Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs), as well as the impact of our Home from Hospital service. As a test of change, Support at Home expands this offer by building on our capacity to provide homecare alongside enhanced, person-centred support. Delivered by a skilled and diverse team with experience across all three partnerships, the service provides both practical and emotional support, using a person-centred, enablement-focused approach tailored to individual needs. Support at Home helps enable timely discharge from hospital, alongside early assessment and support within a person’s own home. This approach improves outcomes for individuals while reducing pressure on acute health and social care services. The service operates in partnership with the three Ayrshire HSCPs (North, East and South) across Ayrshire’s two main hospitals: University Hospital Crosshouse and University Hospital Ayr. This launch represents an important step in expanding our impact across Ayrshire. By working closely with partners and delivering person-centred care, the service will play a key role in reducing delayed discharges, preventing escalation, and improving overall wellbeing. We’re excited to see the difference this service will make and look forward to sharing future successes and stories from the team as their work develops. #Health #SocialCare #SupportAtHome #Ayrshire #BritishRedCross #AyrshireHSCPs
