🎬 Exciting news for UK filmmakers and XR creators as they map out their next international journey ... Our Travel Grant Fund has secured a new round of funding, backed by the BFI and National Lottery funding. Travel Grants will continue to empower both early-career talent and established filmmakers looking to grow their global networks, visibility and creative development. The grants also support attendance at selected film festivals, development labs and co-production forums. Since 2023, the Travel Grant Fund has supported 610 filmmakers and XR creatives to participate in transformative international trips across 27 countries worldwide. “It’s an absolute necessity for people like me who are making shorts and usually make very low-budget films. We can’t afford to go to festivals as we are at an early stage and usually don’t make enough money to even live, let alone trip to festivals.
