Heavy transport and maritime shipping are at the heart of the global decarbonisation challenge. ♻️ These sectors don't just need cleaner energy. They need scalable, reliable solutions that can perform under real-world operating conditions today. Bio-LNG has emerged as one of the most mature renewable fuel options, enabled by advances in biomethane production and liquefaction technologies. But Bio-LNG performance is only as strong as what happens upstream. Liquefaction depends on a stable, high-purity biomethane stream with consistently high methane concentrations and minimal impurities. If that quality isn’t secured, efficiency, operational reliability, and LNG fuel compliance are all affected. That’s why our upgrading systems are designed to deliver consistent biomethane quality, strengthening the full value chain from organic waste to renewable fuel for trucks and ships. This is already taking shape in Norway’s Hardanger region, where our upgrading technology is a key part of a new bio-LNG facility. Here, locally produced biogas is upgraded into high-quality biomethane suitable for efficient liquefaction, transforming regional waste streams into renewable fuel for heavy transport and maritime applications. As Bio-LNG scales, it will be defined less by isolated technologies and more by the consistency of the systems that connect them. #thefutureisBright #BiogasUpgrading #BioLNG
